Sprint Customers Frustrated By Service Outage Posted: 13 Nov 2010 07:41 AM PST MADISON, Wis. -- A cell phone service provider worked Friday to fix a problem leaving customers across southern Wisconsin without service.A spokesperson for Sprint confirmed the outage was "due to an equipment failure at a Sprint switching center."The company was working to fix the issue and "provide a work around in the meantime that allows customers to make calls by roaming off network."
