UNITED STATES -- You better check your cell phone bill, because it could be going up. Phone companies say it's to develop faster service and more features.

Some changes include Verizon dropping its "New Every Two" plan for upgrading phones.

Starting this weekend, AT&T is raising rates and ending some discounts.

Sprint is jacking up rates for smart-phones for new users by $10 a month, starting at the end of this month. Current Sprint customers will not be affected.
